New Perth Harbour Manager

Monday 30th March saw a new recruit, Fraser Wallace, join the CalMac Harbours division as the Harbour Manager for the Port of Perth, assuming the role of day to day responsibilty for the port and the 22miles of river and pilotage. 

Prior to Fraser joining CalMac, and the team at Perth, he worked in the downstream Oil and Gas Sector where his role centred around the day to day safe operations of a Crude Oil Loading facility based in the Forth Estuary.   Before this Fraser worked in a marine operations role after many years working on Small Passenger Ferries and Workboats primarily on the West Coast of Scotland.   Fraser has also spent time as an RYA Instructor both shore-based and afloat in the past.  

Cameron MacPhail, Head of Ports & Harbours for CalMac Harbours (a division of CalMac Ferries Ltd) said; 'we welcome Fraser onboard at this crucial time surrounding the ongoing national emergency, supporting day to day operations. Fraser brings a wealth of experence from both the commerical and lesiure industry and we look forward to delivering further expansion beyond the ports current capacity.'
