NOTICE TO MARINERS
Coronavirus guidance from the Scottish Government is being updated on a regular basis and this NTM has been revised to reflect the progression of Scotland’s phased approach through and out of the COVID-19 crisis.
CFL Harbours, are strictly following the Government guidance and hence mariners are informed that with immediate effect restrictions that were in force have been revised and, provided that the guidance on social distancing is observed, open port access to Perth Harbour is as follows.
All forms of water sports practised on open waterways, i.e. sailing (including skippered charters), windsurfing, canoeing, rowing, kayaking, surfing, paddle-boarding and the use of privately-owned motorised craft can take place.
From 15 July 2020, commercial marine and adventure tourism can also operate. At all times operators MUST comply with Scottish Government and HSE Guidance and regulations to ensure the safety of customers and staff and meet the criteria set out in the Coronavirus (COVID-19): Tourism and Hospitality Sector Guidance.
Individual and boating operators are responsible for conducting a risk assessment drawing on the relevant sources of Scottish Government guidance on COVID-19.
Mariners should note and where applicable should comply with the Declaration of Health requirements of previously issued NTM 06/20 that remains in force.
All non-local vessels entering Perth Harbour limits must contact the harbour office via VHF 09 or telephone 01738 624056 and follow any further instructions. Where a vessel cannot establish contact with Harbour Office, please communicate by email via email@example.com confirming particulars of the proposed call and vessel contact details.

This notice supersedes NTM 07/20 and will remain in force until further notification is issued.
